A while back a new clothing company, Vuga Brand, reached out to me to test some of their gear. I’m always thrilled and flattered when this stuff happens since it is not a common occurrence. I’m a small site in a large Internet ocean so I appreciate the opportunities to try out some new brands. I want to preface this review with a disclaimer. I did get the clothes for free to try but I am not receiving any compensation from Vuga if you click through to their site. Alright, let’s talk about these clothes.
The company makes golf clothing including jackets, vests, polos, shorts, and pants. They even have hats and gloves. I got their Branson Engineered Stripe Polo (which is on sale now here) and their Brandon Tech Short (same sale going on here).
The polo is moisture wicking to provide comfort. I recently wore it for 36 holes at Whistling Straits. What I like about the shirt is that it is a bit heavier than normal golf shirts. That is not to say it is like cotton, far from it, but it provides a bit of shelter on colder days. The fabric is comfortable and easy to move around in. It’s a great shirt for those early spring and fall rounds.
The shorts I love! They fit well and put you in a relaxed mindset. I’ve worn these all over the place from Florida to Wisconsin. They provide stretch and ease of movement which is a big key for me. I hate a pair of shorts that aren’t comfortable. These shorts are all the comfort you need.
I definitely recommend you check out the company website here. Vuga Brand also offers corporate clothing to feature your company logo on their clothes. I don’t have the entire history of the company but I like what I’ve seen so far. Comfortable clothes that look good are many times hard to find. Vuga is making a great effort to deliver on that promise.
