You’ll know soon enough that I didn’t get any photos of City Club Marietta. That’s because I was having too much fun.
I visited City Club Marrieta as part of a get-together of other golf nuts from No Laying Up. We were able to rent out the course for the entire day for the 40-50 of us. I didn’t even know that was possible!
I’m so glad I was able to take part in this gathering. We set up a Ryder Cup-style match play pitting two against two. It was fitting that the day ended in a tie. Once we got done with the match play, we played some alternate shot and put big groups together hopping around the course.
City Club Marieta is a great course for this type of event. It has a great mix of holes and you can definitely make some birdies out there. We even had one guy with a hole in one.
They recently redid their greens with Tif-Eagle Bermuda and are doing well with them. I highly recommend checking them out if you are in the area. The guys out at City Club Marietta will take great care of you.
