As you might have guessed, I am still pursuing my quest of playing four Top 100 lists. As you also know, the world has been living in the midst of a global pandemic since early 2020.
Way down the list of things that COVID has affected, is the availability of access to many private courses. I want to make it clear that I am not complaining about this. Courses have to make decisions that are best for them and their membership. This is also in no way the only thing affected. But this is a golf website, after all.
For you all, my readers, I wanted you to know what to expect in the coming months. As a result of the access issues mentioned, I will have less “Top 100” posts. I am still actively trying to play as many as I can, things have just tightened a bit. I’m also hoping to play other new golf courses so you can have tours to peruse (hopefully not at work 😉).
I am grateful for all the opportunities I have had to play top-notch courses. All of these experiences have been great and I’ve had wonderful hosts. I’ve got plenty of places left to see. I hope to see you at one of the courses and I look forward to teeing it up on the fairways across America.
Have a great summer!
