As is usually the case, very little research has been done for these 2016 Masters picks. The perils of tax season. That being said we will give it a shot.
I have a dandy threesome this year. Bubba Watson, Jordan Spieth, and Jason Day are my guys. I believe the winner comes out of this group. Now before you jump all over me for picking three of the same guys from last year, take a minute and remember this is Augusta. More than any other major this is a horses for courses tournament. Some guys just play well here!
Bubba Watson: Bubba needs no introduction. I don’t love his personality, but his game is built for this course. If he is locked in mentally I think he will be in contention without a doubt.
Jordan Spieth: The defending champ is a little out of sorts with his game. I don’t think it matters. I see him righting the ship and being in the mix.
Jason Day: He is playing the best of anyone in the world right now and has earned the #1 ranking. If he plays the way he has been I am not sure anyone can beat him. I worry he may have peaked too early, but let’s see if he can keep it up.
Dark Horse: How about Kevin Kisner. This is a relative home game for the Aiken, SC native. I like his steady game around this track. He will keep it in play and if he gets hot with the putter I think he will be around.
The Masters is always a fun tournament and always a special time for me. I hope you have enjoyed my two previous posts this week. Now that I work so hard during tax season, the tournament marks the end of a tough stretch of the year. I can watch the tournament and get jacked about getting back on the course more regularly. Enjoy the tournament and I hope you can get out on the course soon. A tradition, unlike any other, hello friends!
I Like Bubba, Adam Scott, and my dark horse is Danny Willett. Can’t wait to watch.
Me too! Going to be fun. Good picks!
Great picks! My money is on Jason Day, but my heart is with Adam Scott. It’ll be difficult focusing at work the next few days!
Smart picks! You are right about focus. I am happy they have the 8-11 replay on the East Coast since it’s tax season!
Jimmy, I would love to see Spieth win it but he’s in a bear market with the putter. I do like Bubba and Day to contend but will stick with Zach Johnson to win it. Enjoy the spectacle!

Could be ole ZJ. Should be fun to watch!
Jimmy
Good group! Any one of the three you favour the most. I have a predictions page on my blog!
Cheers
Jim
Jason Day probably
Jimmy,
So close with Spieth….so painfully close. Wow.
