One Putt

I was recently given the opportunity to review the book One Putt by Ken Brown.  Ken is a former touring professional who was known for his putting ability.  You can also see him today in the golf commentary space.

The book is set up in a interesting way.  Ken explains it as a putting ladder.  He takes the time from the beginning to start at the bottom and work his way up to the top.  The rungs of the ladder are choosing a putter, basic set-up, reading greens, set-up routine, the stroke, touch and feel, tips and drills, and one putting.

The individual chapters are not overly long or technical, which I believe is a positive.  Any golfer from beginner to seasoned player can get something out of the tips presented throughout the book.  Ken does a good job of breaking each section down into small parts that are easily digestible.  I can also see it as a book that would be very easy to refer back to when your putting needs a tune-up.

Overall, the book is a very easy read and has many great tips for improving your putting. I think all golfers could definitely improve their putting from reading this book.  I want to give one of you the opportunity to do just that.  Let’s do a giveaway on Twitter!

  1. Follow @TgrGolfTraveler on Twitter
  2. Mention me in a tweet saying “I want One Putt”
  3. Deadline to enter is 7 days from this post

That’s all you need to do and I will pick a winner.  I look forward to someone else getting to read this book!
