Mid Year Newsletter

Hi everyone!!!!

I hope your 2015 is treating you well!  Hopefully you have been able to get out and play some golf.

I have made some good progress on the lists so far this year with a trip to Bandon Dunes.  Let me just say that I loved the Pacific Northwest!  I even got to sit down with Sean Ogle from breakingeighty.com.  He was a great guy and gave me some awesome golf travel advice.

Through June 2015 I have completed the following of the four lists:

Golf Digest Top 100 – 16/100

Golf Digest Top 100 Public – 24/100

Golf Magazine Top 100 – 14/100

Golf Magazine Top 100 Public – 26/100

I am working on some leads at courses.  There are certain areas that have a lot of courses concentrated in a certain area.  If you know private course contacts in the Boston, New York, Chicago, or Los Angeles areas please let me know.  It is through some wonderful generosity that I have played the courses that I have so far.  I love this great game and the people I have met.

If you haven’t already, please bookmark the site (www.tigergolftraveler.com).  I will continue to post weekly on Mondays and I hope that you follow me in this journey.  Please stay in touch and have a wonderful rest of 2015!

          1. I couldn’t agree more, Jimmy. There is so much mainstream hype over Pacific that it seems like a lot of people just default to that as their favourite. Sure, there are some nice views, but it doesn’t even rival the likes of Pebble, and from a pure golf standpoint, it doesn’t come close to Trails, Pebble, Spyglass, Pasatiempo etc., so I don’t get why it’s in the same conversation. Refreshing to hear you felt similar.

            Cheers
            Josh
